You cannot apply for this scholarship until you have applied for (and ideally been admitted to) the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) via the Common Application.

If you have been admitted but haven’t enrolled yet, you must Create a UM Friend Account. Use the same email address you used for your university application.
Step 3: Verify Your Account
Log in to Wolverine Access to verify your personal details (Birth date and UMID). This verification can take 24-48 hours to process before you can access the scholarship portal.
Step 4: Submit the Scholarship Application
Once your account is verified, log in to the LSA Scholarships Portal and complete the “International Student Scholarship” application.
Deadline: Ensure your application is submitted by 11:59 PM EST on April 10, 2026.
Important Notification Date
Scholarship winners will be notified by April 17, 2026. This allows you to know your financial aid status before the May 1st university enrollment deposit deadline
